Who We Are

We started this space because we wanted more out of the thing we’d given so much of ourselves to. We wanted a space where we belonged, not a place where we felt like a number or “service provider”.

So… we built it. Not just a shop floor, but a collaborative space where we can create, and not just transact.

This is a place to grow- as artists, as clients, as people who share a space. Somewhere you can walk in and actually fit, and be treated like you matter.

A space that cares, and protects its peace. A studio that is meant to feel calm, unhurried, and a bit magical- because we believe that tattoos are magic, and magic doesn’t happen under pressure.

Since 2017 The Black Labyrinth has consistently been voted as one of the best tattoo studios in the Pioneer Valley.

It has taught us the real difference between being inclusive and being exclusive- not the performative version, but the daily practice of welcoming people, all people, exactly as they come.
